BAA Communities Trust
In 2012 BAA Communities Trust invested £60,000 to relaunch vInspired cashpoint in partnership with vInspired, the Jack Petchey Foundation and Barrow Cadbury. BAA's investment will fund cashpoint projects in areas around Southampton, Stansted, Heathrow, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports. vInspired cashpoint is a programme offering grants of up to £500 to give young people the opportunity to bring their ideas for social action projects to life. The concept is simple - anyone between the ages of 14-25 who has an idea to solve an issue in their community - and vInspired and BAA want to help them solve it.
BAA have also supported the vInspired National Awards, celebrating young volunteers and the inspirational work they do.
"BAA Communities Trust has been a proud supporter of the vinspired awards, with our funds helping the winners to help the causes and community work they feel passionate about – we know that our money is well spent by people determined to make a positive difference in their local community."
