Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's are supporting Summer of a Lifetime, National Citizen Service (NCS) 2012 with vInspired, the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust and our national network of local partners. NCS is the Government's approach to help 16 year olds connect with each other and their communities. Our project, Summer of a Lifetime, lasts between 7 and 8 weeks and gives 16 year olds the opportunity to learn an array of new skills in a fun and challenging environment. Young people get to deliver their own social action projects which make a real difference to local communities. What's more, they attend action-packed residentials where challenges are fun and full of adventure. This year we plan to work with 1,230 young people, an increase of 430 from last year.
