Team v

Team v is a new network powered by young people who are socially aware and want to change things for the better. Working in partnership with vinspired, CAF, NIACE and the Rank Foundation, this exciting new programme gives 18 – 25 year old volunteers the chance to change the world, one campaign at a time.

In 2011-12, 46 Team v leaders have been recruited from across England to activate national campaigns in their local areas. They'll each recruit between 5 and 10 other young volunteers to help them plan, organise and deliver three innovative and highly visible social action projects.

Tackling key themes such as food poverty, protecting the planet and regenerating community spaces, Team v leaders will inspire positive change in their communities, running campaigns in November 2011, February 2012 and April 2012.

A comprehensive package of training will help prepare Team v leaders for their roles, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and know-how to run community projects with impact. As well as being supplied with a great training package, a range of toolkits and collateral, Team v leaders will also have the chance to apply for a Team vInspired scholarship worth up to £1000 on completion of the programme, to help plan their future.
